Shelmio stores your records and files locally in the app or browser storage. The current version does not require your own cloud file storage.

Install Shelmio as its own web app and open it directly from the app icon.
Keep working offline
Once the offline package has fully loaded, work with the data already on that device. Updates and external services still require internet access.

Export your data together with the original files. A separate backup adds protection to everyday use.

Android
Open the test version in Chrome. If available, choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen” in the browser menu.
iPhone & iPad
Open the test version in Safari. Choose “Share”, then “Add to Home Screen”. Menu names may vary by system version.
Computer
Open the test version in your browser. If supported, install it as an app using the browser’s install icon or menu.
Full device verification is not complete. Android and PC have been tried in practice; further testing on iPhone, iPad, macOS and Linux is outstanding. Create a backup before changing devices or browsers.

Any questions?
Do I need an AI connection or subscription?
No. The current Shelmio app needs no AI connection or AI subscription. It works independently. Test access still uses a temporary hosting address. Independent sales hosting under our own domain still needs to be prepared.
Where is my data stored?
In the current version, data is stored on each device in app/browser storage. “Local” does not automatically mean “backed up”: clearing browser data, removing the app or losing a device can cause data loss. Regularly save a complete backup, including original files, on separate storage.
Can I sync my phone and computer?
The test version includes sync between your own devices. Files transfer directly; discovery uses an encrypted internet service. Both apps must be open. Currently, the whole selected workspace is synced, rather than individual folders. Automatic operation and platform coverage have not yet been fully tested on real devices.
Can I scan documents?
Create a PDF using an existing phone scanner. In Shelmio, open the destination folder, choose “Add”, then “File scan PDF”. The app does not currently launch the phone’s scanner automatically. You can also save camera shots as photos.
How do I find and organise my photos?
Open a folder in “My files”. Use “Add” to choose several pictures. “Select” reveals checkboxes for batch actions. Use “Manage” to set up folders and tabs. Searching with “All folders” covers the current workspace; check the category and filter settings.
Can I send messages and make calls?
Existing contact details can be passed to phone, email or WhatsApp apps where the device supports them. Shelmio does not replace these services or automatically read WhatsApp contacts or chats.
What about KILD and KILD Family?
Shelmio is the standalone app for personal organisation. KILD is a separate development project for professional research and business planning. KILD Family is planned for later; family sharing is not a promised feature of the current Shelmio version.
